A Wind Orchestra, also called wind band, concert band, symphonic band, symphonic winds, wind symphony, wind ensemble, or symphonic wind ensemble, is a performing ensemble consisting of several members of the woodwind instrument family,brass instrument family, and percussion instrument family.
What is the difference between wind orchestras and symphonic orchestras?
A symphonic band hasn't got a string section where as a symphonic orchestra does.
As above, wind orchestra consists of 3 family which are WOODWIND,BRASS and PERCUSSION.
