2016 National Music Arts Festival - Gold 

National musical arts competition was held in Dewan Sri Pinang on the 31st of May 2016. We were given the golden opportunity to participate in this competition. Chung Ling Butterworth Wind Orchestra  performed Heterophonic and Alvamar Overture that day. Every one of the participants were grateful and glad for the dedications given by Kenny, our conductor for this competition. Although the time we used to practce for the competition was short but we were still proud to say that we won GOLD for the competition. It showed the results and effort given by every one of the participants in making music and a step in improving our band. Thank you to all the seniors that came to support the band during the competition as well!!

Joe's Lullaby 《憶 . 昔》

     Here comes the time of our year! Chung Ling Butterworth Wind Orchestra proudly presents the 11th annual concert with the title Joe's Lullaby 《憶 . 昔》 on the 10th of April 2016 at Dewan Sri Pinang. The concert will start off at 6:00p.m.. Our concert tickets are sold at the price of RM15 per person.        This will be a very special concert organized by us because the songs performed that night are mainly Japenese songs , composed by the well-known composer and musical director for over 100 film scores and solo albums dating back to 1981, Joe Hisaishi.
